These days most people will go online and research products companies just like yours, before they make a purchase. So your website will often act as an initial point of contact for your customers and needs to give off a good first impression. A website with good design and functionality shows your customers what type of business you are and what you can offer them. A website that also responds well to being viewed on both a desktop and mobile device is more likely to retain customers and one that doesn’t.
Your website is one of the best ways to promote your business. Not only does it offer a global reach, but it’s also extremely cost effective. Probably the biggest benefit of your website is its ability to attract and convert new customers. Beyond the initial investment, your website can provide an ongoing return on investment (ROI).
Your website is effectively your shop front or company office. It provides information about your business and the products or services your provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It also gives people the ability to access information about your business at their convenience, rather than yours. Convenience = happy customers and more sales.
Most businesses will have a fair amount of competition, all fighting for a bigger chunk of the market. Of your competitors, how many have a good website? By creating a better online presence you are giving your business a much better chance of gaining that bigger market share.
